All of my pieces are created using mid-fire clay that is durable and can withstand all uses within your kitchen and home.

Each piece I create is thoughtfully crafted, from the clay body to the glaze development. Inspired by the elements, I design with intention to offer a personal, meaningful statement for your home.

Hand-washing

In general these items are dishwasher safe but it is recommended to hand-wash to extend the lifespan or your item. Use warm, soapy water and a soft sponge or cloth to clean. Avoid abrasive scrubbers that may damage the glaze.

Dishwasher use

If you do add your items to the dishwasher, ensure that each piece is spaced apart to avoid any knocking against other items. Use a gentle and non-abrasive dishwasher detergent. Avoid any high-heat drying and extreme temperature changes which can stress and possibly cause cracking.

Stain removal

For stubborn stains, soak the item in soapy water before washing. A natural baking soda paste can be made with a little water and applied for a short time before scrubbing gently.

Temperature changes

These items can withstand a cool oven and microwave use; however, subjecting these pieces to extreme temperature changes can crack and break your item. If wishing to preheat your oven and warm plates, place them in the cold oven to allow them to heat with the oven.
